About ChezziI first saw Francesca, on a video tape at Bruce and Sheena Kilsby's house. They were thinking of importing the very handsome Clan-Abby Blue Aberdoone, but then this beautiful young lady appeared on the kennel roof, and Judy Vos introduced her as "Francesca, she's not a fighter but she does like to be on top of it all."
I was hooked, so as soon as I got home I rang and asked if Francesca, could come to England. It seemed like ages for Judy to think about it and check me out, but her answer was "Yes", and that is where the N.Z. connection started, as she arrived in England with a very precious cargo on board, the first "Wizaland Newz" litter.
Francesca was only shown sparingly, as it took a long time for her to stablise her coat, but she gained her title, and won the Bitch C.C at Crufts.
She won many Veteran classes, and was Border Collie Veteran of the Year on several occasions.
Francesca was a joy to live with, having the sweetest disposition, and we are always looking in our litters for another Chezzi, but I think they broke the mould when she was made, she was exceptionally beautiful, and one of the strongest influences in our kennel.
